ISSUE # 5

Issue # 5

Welcome back and congratulations to everyone who passed their national boards! What a relief it feels, eh? I apologize for not sending a newsletter in the recent weeks. With graduation around the corner there are requirements to complete, job searching, clinical boards, licensing paperwork, etc. Needless to say, there are so many steps to be a dental hygienist and I am so happy that it is all over. I am ready to enter the wonderful profession of dental hygiene with my head up, arms open, and continuous thanks to my wonderful faculty.

This issue should be the start of continuous issues now that I am back from my "vacation." If you don't receive an issue next week, it is because I am in Boston watching playoff game 4 with the Boston Celtics. I live near Atlanta and it will be nice to be around some fellow Yankees who will laugh at me for having a southern accent...(which I don't have by the way! :-) How nice it will be to be able to relax, and yell as hard as I can...and not worry about any school work whatsoever! Hard work does pay off eventually.

There will be many changes coming to the website soon. I have started making all of the practice board questions interactive to a point-and-click test that will grade you as you go. In the future we will have mock boards and case studies with a counter on the site to simulate the exact amount of questions in the specified time frame that will shut off after the time expires. If you have any suggestions you would like to see, please let me know!

Please remember that many of you are graduating or have already graduated, so if you wish to be removed from this email list then please respond with the words "remove." Thanks!
